The Museum of Hidden Beauty
This collection is called "Love is a Charm of Powerful Trouble" by Susan Collis. On Collis' website, it says this about the collection: "At first glance, the marks seem to be the accidental results of normal use, and as such seem meaningless and not worthy of examination."
Susan Collis is a British artist who is known for re-making everyday objects into something of value and beauty, which encourages viewers to look deeper into the piece and it's meaning. Susan Collis' work has a place in the "Museum of Hidden Beauty" due to the hidden Opal and Gold hidden between brush bristles, on chairs and floors, and other items rendered "Ugly" or "Useless".
